7 plies · Koto surface · Carbon inner fibre · Kiri core · 6.3 mm total

One blade, drawn as technical linework at real shakehand proportions. The laminated edge along the crown and right rim exposes every ply boundary in the stack. Edge depth is illustrative because physical veneer thickness is not published.

Stack order — face A to face B

  1. 01
    KotoOuter ply

Hard, dense outer veneer — a crisp, direct hit and plenty of speed straight off the bounce.

  2. 02
    AyousMedial ply

Very light medial or core wood — keeps the blade low in weight and widens the sweet spot.

  3. 03
    CarbonFibre layer

Pure carbon — maximum stiffness and speed, with a hard, direct impact.

  4. 04
    Kiri — coreCore

Paulownia core — extremely light, damping the stack and slowing the blade down for control.

About this blade

STIGA Cybershape Carbon is a 7-ply blade built around Carbon fibre placed inner, with Koto on the playing surface and a Kiri core. Koto in the outer layer: Hard, dense outer veneer — a crisp, direct hit and plenty of speed straight off the bounce. Ayous in the medial layer: Very light medial or core wood — keeps the blade low in weight and widens the sweet spot. Kiri in the core: Paulownia core — extremely light, damping the stack and slowing the blade down for control. Carbon in the fibre layer: Pure carbon — maximum stiffness and speed, with a hard, direct impact. Physically it measures 6.3 mm thick, around 85 g. STIGA positions it for off play.

A TTDNA blade rating measures how much of the named characteristic a blade has. For descriptive rows — flex, stiffness, vibration, head heaviness, weight, thickness, carbon feel, softness, technique requirement, spin sensitivity — a higher number means more, not better.

TTDNA ratings are normalized comparison values, not laboratory measurements. They are built from published specifications, technical sources and structured product evidence, converted to one 0–100 scale. Where a directly comparable measurement is unavailable, the value is an evidence-based estimate. Overall-style scores are composites of several characteristics. Methodology
