Eighteen years on, Tenergy 05 is still the benchmark. The 36° Spring Sponge and high-tension topsheet produce a wide, safe arc with enormous rotation on brush contact, and the sheet stays linear from a soft touch to a full loop. Expensive, and the grip fades faster than modern ESN sheets — but nothing else feels this balanced.
