A disruptive short pips near the medium-pips boundary — not a conventional hitting pips.
Killer is filed as short pips, but its behaviour sits close to the medium-pips boundary: the ball comes back flatter and more irregular than from a classic attacking pips, and pushes carry noticeable reversal. It is at its best close to the table, blocking actively and finishing with flat hits, and it is deliberately not a spin-producing rubber. Players wanting spinny short pips should look at the Tornado family instead.
