Dr. Neubauer · Power Attack · Anti-topspin

Power Attack

The fastest frictionless anti in the range: built to attack while still reversing a large part of the incoming spin.

Power Attack is designed for players who want to hit through the ball with an anti surface. It is clearly faster than the deadening A-B-S and Animal Anti models and gives up some absorption in exchange, but it still returns a substantial amount of the opponent's rotation, so a hard drive can arrive with unexpected backspin. Thicker sponges increase speed, the 1.5 mm build keeps more control.

Dr. Neubauer product photography is not licensed for TTDNA, so TTDNA renders its own neutral topsheet visualisation generated from verified construction data.

Effect profile

Disruption78 / 100
Spin reversal79 / 100
Speed absorption82 / 100
Attackability92 / 100

Spin reversal is the returned rotation of the incoming ball. It is stored separately from the TTDNA spin rating, which measures the rubber's own spin production.

Strengths

  • Very high spin reversal on passive contacts
  • Very high control for its category
  • Genuinely usable for attacking

Weaknesses

  • Produces essentially no spin of its own

Best for

  • Players who disrupt rather than out-spin opponents
  • Attacking anti players
  • Counter-hitting players
  • Disruptive players

Not ideal for

  • Players expecting the rubber to generate its own spin
