Dr. Neubauer · Pistol · Short pips

Pistol

A fast, spin-capable short pips with a soft sponge and a very direct attacking ball.

Pistol is built for hitting. It is quick, keeps a fairly low trajectory and still produces enough spin to open against a passive push. The soft sponge makes the racket feel comfortable during the short game and gives a wide timing window for counter-hits. Pistol and Pistol 2 are separate official products with different pip behaviour.

Dr. Neubauer product photography is not licensed for TTDNA, so TTDNA renders its own neutral topsheet visualisation generated from verified construction data.

Known users

Fast-block and hitting players — pen-hold forehands and close-to-table backhands that punish topspin early.

Dr. Neubauer publishes no athlete roster for this sheet, so TTDNA shows the player profile it is built for instead of invented names.
